A Future For Us All

Sir Ken Robinson

Sharing the messages that the world needs to hear is what drives us forward. While creating the RSA Animates, we had the privilege of working with Sir Ken Robinson. It started an enduring friendship, which ended much too soon last year when he gave us his final brief.

A Future For Us All is the result, an animation that looks at our education systems, and the systems that have informed them. In it, Sir Ken prompts us all to stop and ask questions. As the world resumes after the pandemic:

  • What is the ‘normal’ we want to get back to?

  • How should our education systems help students to flourish?

  • What should educational cultures look like?

Sir Ken has left us with a rallying call that shines a light on the purpose of education. We've put his words through the prisms of whiteboard animation and creative visual thinking; wrapping them in rich illustration, familiar characters, thought-provoking references and engaging animation.

Some of our favourite references include one of William Blake’s angels, Turner’s painting Steam and Speed and the R. Kensington warehouse. What can you spot? Find out more in the ‘making of’ below.

We are proud that A Future For Us All will carry Sir Ken’s words, wisdom and insight forward, as we all re-shape our world. This is why we exist, this is what we do. If you have a message the world needs to hear, we’d love to talk to you. Book a discovery call today.
