Shining a Light on Our Clients – Part 1

As an explainer video agency, the best bit of our job is working with clients who have big ideas and complex messages. We’re always ready to make a complicated message feel relatable and understandable or help a visionary get their message out to the masses.

When it comes to the topics of our explainer videos, we refuse to be typecast. One day, we might be explaining essential legal aspects of CPR, and the next day we’re creating a whiteboard video promoting a new real estate development. If you’ve read our recent articles, you’ll know that our strong code of ethics can lead us to turn down clients, but ‘yes’ is our go-to wherever possible. Here are just a few of the clients that we've been delighted to say 'yes'. However, it wasn't an easy choice. We’re an animated video agency with over twenty years' worth of incredible clients after all.

The RSA

How could we not start with the RSA? It was working with them on the RSA animates series that gave us the inspiration to pioneer whiteboard animation. The RSA Animates series has had 100 million views and gave us the opportunity to collaborate with experts such as Ha Joon Chang, Carol Dweck, Dan Pink and Renata Salecl.

As they say, the rest is history, and our work has created a whole genre of explainer videos. Since the RSA Animates, we’ve worked together many times on everything from explainer videos to murals, and even plaques.

Sir Ken Robinson

Sir Ken Robinson’s legacy is frankly, immense. He has helped change the face and focus of education. Our first opportunity to share the work of Sir Ken Robinson was during our work on the RSA Animates series. We then worked with him on a deeply moving and emotive poem and had the honour of creating a whiteboard animation to share his final message, a deep and reflective video exploring what a future for us all looks like. This, and all of Sir Ken’s work, has left the world with essential food for thought that we hope is taken forward.

Heathrow

Now, from education to transportation. Keeping air traffic flowing smoothly and safely is no mean feat. It takes a complex level of precision, and Heathrow Airport asked us to collaborate with them on an whiteboard animation video to show the public just what goes into managing their airspace and highlight how carefully consider the public’s needs. Working with Heathrow is a classic example of how we always learn as much from our clients as they learn from our creative experts.

Rosalind Wiseman

You may know Rosalind Wiseman as the best-selling author behind the film, Mean Girls. That book, Queen Bees and Wannabes, was just one Wiseman’s best sellers, and her career has covered so much more – including working with the state department and setting up the organisation Cultures of Dignity. It was through Cultures of Dignity that we got to work with Wiseman, sharing her insights into respect and how to create a culture of dignity.

Mustafa Suleyman

AI is everywhere! We’re through the looking glass and how this ‘coming wave’ of technology will help or hinder us depends on us. This is the stark reality presented in Mustafa Suleyman’s book, The Coming Wave. Suleyman is the CEO of Microsoft AI, and in The Coming Wave, he has created a must-read guide to the technological revolution re-shaping our world. Democratising knowledge is at the core of our mission, so we loved collaborating on this project.

Amnesty International

Our expert creative team works hard to create explainer videos that are world-class in quality and world-changing in impact. Our work with Amnesty is a great example of this. We created awareness videos about the experiences of refugees for Amnesty International’s human rights education course. This is a global issue and to ensure it could reach a global audience, we created versions of the animations in English, French and Spanish.

Asha de Voss and TED Ed

One of the things we like most about working with clients is getting to see their passion and play our part in making their projects happen. This was certainly true when we got to work with marine biologist Asha de Voss as part of our partnership with TED-Ed. We took a very hands-on approach to help Asha educate audiences about blue whales, using a combination of puppets and animation. This was just one of the explainer videos we made with TED-Ed. We also brought daily life in ancient Rome to life with professor Ray Laurence and pondered the universe with TED founder Chris Anderson.

The World Bank

We love it when our explainer videos can create change and improve lives. This is exactly what we’ve been able to do with our explainer videos for the World Bank. We’ve collaborated with the World Bank several times, bringing vital awareness to issues around safety, hygiene and development programmes. Nothing beats the feeling of seeing an animated explainer video you created out there spreading the word about important issues!

London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine

When it comes to making complex messages accessible, memorable and engaging, whiteboard animation is the perfect choice. We needed all three of these qualities when our team explained the history and importance of the anti-clotting drug TXA. This important awareness project was taken to another level when we were asked to create a version in Ukrainian.

Each and every project we work on is special to us, because every project is unique and tailored precisely to conquering your pain points, connecting with your audience and creating impact.
