As agencies and consultancies, we don’t always have the luxury of working with glamorous brands with scintillating stories the whole time. Some of our client do really important work, however this work isn’t going to blow everyone’s socks off from a content perspective. Sometimes it’s a tad dry and a little bit boring! But we love boring! Because boring isn’t really boring, often it’s simply about the wrong storytelling choices and creative approach.

Back in 2012 we made a short film, when the Bank of England agreed to extend its quantitative easing (QE) programme by £50bn to give a further boost to the UK economy. The BBC Economics Editor Stephanie Flanders wrote a succinct script to take a look at how these latest cash injections would work and the film aired on the BBC’s 9 o’clock news.
