About our partners
Amnesty International is a Non-Governmental Organisation that draws attention to and actively campaigns against human rights abuses around the world. Having won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1977 for its campaign against torture, Amnesty International has become the world’s highest profile human rights organisation.
The challenge
When Amnesty canvassed their supporters to help shape their first human rights MOOC (Massive Open On-line Course), they received over 2000 responses. A decisive 50% of survey respondents said they wanted to learn how to take action. They want to see what human rights look like in practice and they want to connect with people across the world. Amnesty asked us to make this film that would highlight the launch of their first MOOC and show what the viewer would gain from such a course in easy to understand, face paced format.
The film
This film introduces Amnesty International’s online course to empower every one of us to do what we feel is right. It shows how the world is in a constant state of flux, with wars and repressive regimes creating an ongoing refugee crisis. The film encourages us as individuals to affect change against these global problems.
