EQ-5D
For over 30 years EQ-5D has been used to measure people’s quality of life. It covers essential areas of our lives including mobility, selfcare and depression, providing vital insights into medical trials and the ways medical conditions affect people.
The Scrapbook
The challenge
We had to explain EQ-5D to a global audience of practitioners, showing how it works and why it is the best. To do this we needed to use a visual and verbal language which was understood and accessible across the globe, using a tone which was warm but also authoritative
The film
The EQ-5D is a tool helping the world make better health care decisions. Our film brings to life how it works and why it is so effective.
The EQ-5D story was told through a combination of creative and universal visual language, a professional but affable voiceover and strong script. These combined to reflect how EQ-5D functioned but also showed the human side of it’s design. Metaphors like data presented on blueprints and imagery like scientists using scales and chalkboards highlighted the technical aspect of EQ-5D while metaphors such as a character in front of five mirrors showed it’s human and personal elements. The strong, dynamic and forward thinking nature of EQ-5D was embodied through the well written script, on-screen text and visuals that brought its global nature, successes and future plans to an audience around the world.
The film told the story of what EQ-5D is, how it operates and why it is the best choice for those in the industry, concluding in a strong call to action to find out more.
