About our partners
The North American Forest Partnership (NAFP), now known as #forestproud, is a diverse group of companies and organisations from throughout the United States and Canada committed to the management, promotion & longevity of sustainable, healthy forests.
The challenge
The North American Forest Partnership needed to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, from the general public to commercial partners and Government. The goal was to build understanding and support amongst the general public about the need for the protection and management of North American forests.
The film
This film highlights the huge number of benefits that forests bring to our everyday lives with the overall aim being to make the audience aware that there is far more to trees than they perhaps initially thought! In this 'explainer video' we learn about how our interconnected relationship with forests benefits us and the world around us. The ‘whiteboard animation’ style mirrors that of a learning environment. The familiarity of this style of learning sets the tone for the audience. Their minds are switched on to learn as soon as they see it. In the film we explore the social, environmental and economic value derived from trees and the role responsible management and conservation play in the future of forests.
