Dallington Associates Ltd
Mentorship Programme
Dallington Associates Ltd approached us to create an animation that captures the depth and impact of their mentorship programme. They needed something authentic and engaging, speaking directly to young people and their families without feeling over-polished or forced.
The Brief
Privilege may offer opportunities, but it also brings unique pressures: expectations, family legacies, and the challenge of carving out an independent path.
Dallington’s approach isn’t about quick fixes, but long-term relationships built on trust and consistent support. The challenge was to convey this steady, ongoing mentorship in a clear, relatable way.
How We Delivered
We created a 1.5-minute animation that brings Dallington Associate’s mentorship programme to life, focusing on the steady, long-term support that defines their work. The animation uses metaphors to reflect the growth, challenges, and personal journeys of the young people they work with.
Key moments and visual metaphors include:
• Paper boats and islands are recurring motifs, representing the themes of exploration, guidance, and the personal growth journey that each mentee experiences.
• The constellations in the animation represent the beliefs, roles, and systems we inherit and eventually begin to question as we grow into adulthood.
• The Dallington curriculum is visualised as a mandala island, highlighting its interconnected and evolving nature as it’s adapted to the unique needs of each mentee.
A mentor is shown walking alongside the mentee, symbolising Dallington’s supportive and long-term role in their journey of self-discovery. The Dallington Townhouse is carefully modelled in the animation.
The diverse characters reflect Dallington’s inclusive, international approach, working with mentees from various backgrounds. The voiceover, recorded by a team member, adds authenticity to the message.
The Client
Since 2016, Dallington Associates has been guiding young people aged 16-30—helping them navigate the transition from adolescence to adulthood.
