ACT Leadership approached us with a challenge: how to express their leadership philosophy in a way that felt clear, compelling, and true to their values. They needed an animation that would capture not just what they do, but why it matters—bringing their unique coaching model to life in a way that resonated with their audience.
The Brief
ACT Leadership’s coaching model is built on three core principles: Awareness, Choice, and Transformation (ACT). They work with senior leaders navigating high-pressure environments, helping them move beyond reactive decision-making and step into leadership that is intentional, resilient, and transformative.
While their impact was clear to those who had experienced their work firsthand, distilling it into a concise, engaging message was a challenge. They needed a way to articulate their approach in a way that felt both intellectually rigorous and emotionally compelling.
How We Delivered
We created a 4.5-minute animation that visually and narratively captured the essence of ACT Leadership’s philosophy. Through bold storytelling, metaphor-driven visuals, and a carefully balanced tone of professionalism and warmth, we made their coaching model tangible and memorable.
The animation follows a leader’s journey from uncertainty to clarity, illustrating key challenges and shifts along the way. Some standout visual metaphors include:
• A tangled puppet, exhausted from trying to follow rigid expectations, who finally cuts herself free—representing the moment a leader steps out of restrictive, outdated leadership norms.
• A relentless whack-a-mole game, illustrating the exhausting cycle of reactive leadership.
• A subway-style mental map showing a leader’s habitual thought patterns—until a shift in perspective reveals new pathways forward.
• A hidden trap door within a character, symbolizing the internal transformations that unlock more effective leadership.
• A rigid hierarchical pyramid that, by the animation’s end, flips to represent a leadership model that empowers from the ground up.
The animation stayed true to ACT Leadership’s brand identity, using their signature yellow, teal, and navy palette for consistency and visual impact. To maintain authenticity, we worked closely with the ACT team to ensure the narration felt personal and aligned with their ethos.
By blending sharp visuals, engaging storytelling, and a touch of humour, the animation acts as an invitation to rethink leadership and see transformation as something both deeply personal and widely impactful.
