Onboarding
Effective onboarding is more than just handing out computers to new hires. It encompasses training, personalising software, and securing setups; it requires expertise and time. One way to nail onboarding for a scaling company is to engage a Managed Service Provider. Tech Superpowers (TSP) approached us seeking a creative solution to showcase the challenges growing companies face and explain how MSPs like them can facilitate a comprehensive, well-documented onboarding process.
The Brief
This was our third collaboration with TSP, and we aimed to continue the narrative with recurring characters while injecting fresh creativity. They hoped for a relatable film, steering clear of being authoritative or judgmental in tone and resonating with a broad audience across diverse industries.
The Explainer Animation
Whiteboard animation allowed us to convey the message in an abstract yet informative manner.
Poor onboarding impacts employee experience and company operations, affecting safety, efficiency, and reputation. We strove to include struggles that any scaling company could relate to by including examples that are universally applicable using a playful boating analogy. The struggles were contrasted with painless onboarding with TSP on your side: “onboarding that is watertight, pain-free, and fit for expansion.”
Our team meticulously designed illustrations and animations that incorporated TSP’s distinctive colours. We included humour in the onscreen dialogue to keep viewers engaged, and bouncy background music to create an energetic atmosphere.
The Client
TSP is a Managed Service Provider (MSP) specializing in providing comprehensive IT solutions for businesses. With a focus on supporting growing companies, TSP offers tailored services to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
The Context
The film can be viewed on TSP’s website.
