Shining a Light on Our Clients – Part 2

Every project we take on is special because it’s uniquely designed to address your challenges, connect with your audience, and create a lasting impact.

Whether it's making complex ideas feel simple or dry subjects feel engaging, our mission is to democratise knowledge. For over twenty years, we’ve been making this mission a reality, working on whiteboard explainer videos for clients across sectors ranging from education and health to international law and energy. Over that time, we’ve had the opportunity to work with hundreds of clients, and in part two of our client focus, we’re shining a light on another nine of our many favourites.

Professor Stephen Hawking

It’s been a privilege to work with some of the greatest thinkers of our time, and one such opportunity was when we worked with Professor Stephen Hawking. We were already big fans of Hawking’s work, and while we were saddened by the news of his death, we relished chance to explain his last theory explaining the supertranslation charges held by black holes. Fascinating, yet complex ideas like this, are what we designed whiteboard animation to explain.

The European Commission

We’re no strangers to working with governments and national organisations, and a recent example we’re particularly proud of is our whiteboard animation video for the European Commission. Our project raised awareness about mineral extraction, and the human and environmental issues that often go with it, before introducing their Conflict Minerals Regulation. It was great to create an explainer video sharing such an important message.

The BBC

Our partnership with the BBC goes back a long way. We’ve illustrated the daily news, created explainer videos for the Six O’Clock News, helped Radio 2 tell the story of the nativity and unpacked the philosophical idea shaping our world for Radio 4. Each project with the BBC has been an exciting adventure into visual storytelling and we hope to collaborate again.

Pfizer

Data and dense information are great, they can help us all make better decisions and be more successful. They’re not always easy to interpret though, and that’s where our visual thinking comes in. We love taming complexity like this, and while working with Pfizer we transformed their data and report findings into easily accessible visuals.

Whether it’s making complex ideas feel simple or dry subjects feel engaging, our mission is to democratise knowledge.

Rolls-Royce

Rolls-Royce has been operating for over 120 years, and they’ve become one of the industry’s global benchmarks for quality. It was an honour to animate and explain some of the processes that have helped Rolls-Royce achieve their iconic status. Our collaborations have also allowed us to flex our translation skills, we’ve created explainer videos in both English and French.

The World Health Organisation

Few messages can have as much of a direct impact on people’s lives as public health messages. They save and improve lives across the world, and showcase what can be achieved when knowledge is shared! We’ve had the chance to explain important messages like these several times for the World Health Organization, and we hope we can again.

The Royal Collection

Our explainer video for the Royal Collection is one of those projects we’ll never forget, and one of the reasons may surprise you. Firstly, it was a privilege to be given access to the Royal Collection’s incredible archive and the history it contains. Secondly, we got to tell true stories based on the comic art of Thomas Rowlandson, noted for his political satire and social observation. And thirdly, our recording session with Brian Blessed is one we will never forget!

The R&A and the USGA

Complexity comes in many forms, and that includes the world of sport. We’ve worked with many sports clubs and organisations over the years, and one of our favourite projects was helping The Royal & Ancient Golf Club and United States Golf Association. For us, it was a great chance to make the complex changes to golf’s handicap system understandable and memorable by using relatable, humorous and engaging visual thinking.

WeTransfer

What do you think when someone says ‘corporate storytelling’? A pitch? A thousand PowerPoint slides? That it’s time to switch off? Whiteboard animation offers an alternative to all these options, and we enjoyed embracing the creative freedom it offers to tell WeTransfer’s story in a way that truly brought it to life.
