UN FAO
Acceleration Zone
As our agri-food systems become increasingly strained, we need to develop projects and overcome barriers faster than ever! This is where the UN FAO Acceleration Zone comes in. The Acceleration Zone is a space where project developers can work with expert facilitators to get their projects off the ground and create the change we need. Our creative team explained the role and features of the Acceleration Zone in this explainer video.
The Brief
The UN FAO needed an explainer video that launched their Acceleration Zone and encouraged project architects to use it in less than two minutes. It was essential that our video not only explained how the Acceleration Zone works but also highlighted the opportunities the Acceleration Zone unlocks for project architects.
The Explainer Video
The Acceleration Zone provides exciting tools and possibilities for project architects working in the agri-food sector. To communicate these to potential users, our explainer video took a positive and bright tone as it explained what the Acceleration Zone offers.
Our scripted and visual storytelling began by connecting with audience pain points, setting out the challenges many viewers will be familiar with. This backdrop allowed our creative team to showcase features offered by the Acceleration Zone by using engaging characters and visuals. Our illustrators created rich and inviting scenes, used playful visual thinking to highlight points that stayed with audiences and communicated extra information not mentioned by the voiceover.
We drew the video to a close by painting a picture of the successful position project architects will be in after working with the Acceleration Zone and inviting the audience to bring their challenges ‘to the zone!’
